Terms and Conditions
This page explains how The Speaking Club by Yulia currently works. If you have questions, contact us before booking.
These terms describe participation in The Speaking Club by Yulia: fixed weekly online English speaking groups.
Class format
- Groups are fixed: the same weekday, time and level each week.
- Each live session lasts 55 minutes. Groups normally include 3-5 students.
- Levels are Easy, Medium and Advanced. Easy is for A2 / early B1 students, not absolute beginners.
Plans and payment
- Trial session costs 9 EUR and is paid once.
- Membership 1 session/week costs 39 EUR per month and reserves one place in one fixed weekly group.
- Membership 2 sessions/week costs 69 EUR per month and reserves places in two fixed weekly groups at the same level.
- Access is confirmed by Stripe payment confirmation and the system processing the payment. The checkout success page alone does not grant access.
One active membership
- A student can have only one active monthly membership at the same time.
- A trial can exist separately, but Membership 1 and Membership 2 should not coexist as active monthly memberships for the same student/email.
- Plan or group changes are currently handled manually by Yulia and depend on level, availability and capacity.
Materials
- Materials are provided after class: one living Quizlet dictionary per group and presentation links for individual sessions.
- The group Quizlet grows over time. Presentations are connected to specific sessions.
Level Check
- The Level Check is a short written multiple-choice English mini-test.
- It recommends Easy, Medium or Advanced, but it is not a formal exam and does not automatically move a student to another group.
Student responsibility
- Students should provide the correct first name, last name and email so Yulia can organize the group and access.
- Students should not share private class links, materials or dashboard access with other people.
- Cancellations, changes, missed sessions and refunds are handled under the Cancellation Policy.
